Leslie G. Woods serves the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) Office of Public Witness (OPW) as the Representative for Domestic Poverty & Environmental Issues, engaging in public witness ministry with decision-makers in Washington, DC, and with Presbyterians across the church. Leslie also coordinates the OPW’s internship program and serves on the National Council of Churches Eco-Justice Working Group. Leslie is a graduate of Randolph-Macon College and Yale Divinity School, where she earned a Master of Arts in Religion with a concentration in Hebrew Bible. Leslie continues to discern her call to ministry and is particularly interested in the inescapable intersection of justice issues, such as poverty, health, and creation care, and the biblical command for justice as a setting for right relationship with God.
