Pamela K. Brubaker is Professor of Religion and Ethics at California Lutheran University. She is on the Advisory Board of the Ventura County Clergy and Laity United for Economic Justice, which also works on immigration issues. Her publications include Justice Not Greed, co-edited with Rogate Mshana (WCC Publications, 2010), Globalization at what Price? Economic Change and Daily Life (Pilgrim Press, 2007, 2001),Women Don’t Count: The Challenge of Women’s Poverty to Christian Ethics (Oxford University Press, 1994), and Justice in a Global Economy: Strategies for Home, Community, and World, co-edited with Rebecca Todd Peters and Laura Stivers (Westminster John Knox, 2006). She has published articles in the Journal of Religion, Conflict and Peace, The Ecumenical Review, the Journal of Feminist Studies in Religion, and Union Seminary Quarterly Review. She is a member of the World Council of Churches Advisory Group on Economic Matters and has served on the Board of Directors of the Society of Christian Ethics and co-chaired the Ethics Section of the American Academy of Religion. She earned her Ph.D. in Christian Social Ethics from Union Theological Seminary in New York City.
She is a member of the Church of the Brethren.
